Amazing Sunday Roast!

Had a fab Sunday roast! The meat was spot on, locally sourced, and cooked perfectly. Veggies were fresh, no soggy frozen stuff here. The team was super friendly, felt like family. Only wish the bar had a bit more of a cozy vibe. definitely a place to hit up for a great meal!

I experienced a few inconveniences when trying to get breakfast due to limited availability, which can be annoying for mornings when you need to start your day early.

During my recent stay, I loved how I could easily walk to Shalford Park, just under 4 km from the hotel, perfect for a relaxing stroll, and the charming Godalming Museum, only a bit over 4 km away, added a delightful cultural touch to my weekend.

The room was clean with crisp bedding. Nice touch with tea and coffee facilities. I appreciated the flat-screen TV, although the signal strength was poor, causing buffering. The dinner had good portion sizes, but the quality of food left something to be desired. Staff were pleasant, but the welcome lacked warmth. Check-in felt rushed. Breakfast needed to be reserved ahead of time, which I forgot, leading to inconvenience. The pub atmosphere was inviting, but noise from below can be bothersome in the evening, affecting sleep quality. Could improve communication about amenities and meal availability. A shame about the small issues overshadowing the potential.
